This paper discusses methods to construct basic digital city model based on the three- dimensional GIS. Based on this research of digital city application system, we propose and have implemented an interactive visualization management system in digitized city domain with the three dimensional GIS platform, which has realized two-dimensional and three-dimensional union demonstration, inquiry, spatial analysis and optimal choice decision analysis function, and has given our own viewpoint on modeling technology, magnanimous vector data’s visit and inquiry of the three dimensional landscape models. This study provides support to digital city management to a certain extent.
