About the Journal
Purpose
The Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering disseminates original, theoretical, and experimental research results of permanent interest in all branches of manufacturing including emerging areas. Research papers are peer-reviewed full-length articles of considerable depth. The journal also publishes technical briefs, manufacturing innovation papers, reviews, and editorials. The Editorial Board consists of a team of international experts who provide expertise and conduct the peer-review process for the different topical areas covered by the journal.
Scope: Areas of interest including, but not limited to: Additive manufacturing; Advanced materials and processing; Artificial intelligence in manufacturing; Assembly; Biomedical manufacturing; Bulk deformation processes (e.g., extrusion, forging, wire drawing, etc.); CAD/ CAM/CAE; Computer-integrated manufacturing; Control and automation; Cyber-physical systems in manufacturing; Data science-enhanced manufacturing; Design for manufacturing; Inspection and quality control; Laser processes; Robotics and flexible tooling; Semiconductor manufacturing; Smart manufacturing; Sustainable manufacturing
